If you answered yes to any of the questions above, then I’d love for you to partner with me to implement mini reading conferences. Every Monday for the next 36 weeks, a new mini reading conference will appear in your inbox.
This email will serve as a reminder to print out the PDF and distribute the reading conference cards to 4 students in your classes. The 4 students you distribute the card to for the week will fill it in and return it back to you. Next, your goal throughout the rest of the week will be to return the cards back to the 4 students and have a 1-2 minute mini reading conference with each student using the card as an icebreaker.
By the end of an average 36-week school year, you will have held almost 150 mini reading conferences with students that you may have never had the opportunity to have.
